Daisy Tam

I am an instructor of music theory, harmony, history, and piano in the Greater Toronto Area, based in Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario. Also, I am a theory faculty member at The Phil and Eli Taylor Academy for Young Artists with The Royal Conservatory. I am a member of the RCM College of Examiners as a theory examiner. Under my guidance, students have achieved outstanding examination results and recognitions, including the RCM National Gold Medal for Excellence in Theory.

In recent years, I participated in Pedagogy into Practice (Santa Barbara, California) and Workshops in Music Theory Pedagogy (University of Massachusetts Amherst and The University of British Columbia).

I was born in Hong Kong and I grew up in Toronto, Ontario. In my spare time, I enjoy running and going for adventurous walks with my beagle, Angel. Also, I am a mentor with the Girls E-Mentorship program in Toronto.
